The talk explores possible verticals and key-performance indicators for the sixth generation (6G) networks. Exploring the transformation to 5G and how it allowed the industrial community to lay down the main reconfigurable network components that can also support the next generation of mobile communications. The network virtualization allows the operators infrastructure to become fully automated and scalable chain of hybrid network functions that reside in public and private clouds. This new form of network modeling optimizes the computational resources, monitors spectrum availability, and adapt network topology according to the traffic transferred in various network segments. Therefore, employing artificial intelligence in architectural design for upcoming 6G networks and composed elements will create self-aware network that act proactively to user demands.
The lecture provided visions for 6G end-to-end 6G network considering current and any future technology enablers.
